Tips to Improve Your Eyesight

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

Those tips are useful for those whose spend a lot of time working with a computer, watching TV and/or reading.

Doing such activities make you almost short sighted, which means  you will not be able to see things at distance clearly. Your eyes become used to see close objects, and therefore they become less able to see distant objects clearly.

Here are 3 tips to improve your eyesight naturally:

1- Every 30 to 60 minutes, stare at something distant for 30 seconds. This can be the wall at the end of the room or anything distant you can see through your window. This will improve your focus on distant objects, by preventing your eyes from being focused only on close objects.

2- Close one eye, stretch  your hand horizontally and put your finger in front of your face at the level of your nose. Look at your finger for few seconds then look at an object distant as far as you can see. Repeat this 20 to 30 times. Do the same for the other eye.

3- Node your head up (toward the ceiling) and down (toward your feet) like you’re nodding “yes” to someone. This will strengthen the muscles of your neck, enhancing thereby the blood circulation in your eyes. Nodding 100 times a day will give you the best results.
